TATTFEST - Cassie & Jack’s Festival Wedding.

On May 25th 2025, We had the pleasure of capturing one of our favourite weddings to date. Cassie & Jack’s festival wedding, nicknamed TATTFEST, (after their shared surname - Tattersall). When I had the initial phone call with Cassie she told me about her plans for her festival wedding and I knew it would be special from then! But I didn’t realise how much effort and detail she was going to put into the day until we were there and saw it all for ourselves. The wedding was held at the Lenches Lakes. They set up a huge teepee, a ceremony space overlooking the lake and even made their own DIY stage. The whole place was decorated with personalised “Tattfest” banners, quirky signs, band posters, bunting and lanterns and guests wore ‘VIP Tattfest’ wristbands. It literally looked like a mini Glastonbury festival. They even had their own merch stand with personalised t-shirts and facepaint, flower garlands, glasses - your typical festival attire. We began the day with bridal prep at Cassie’s house, where we captured candid getting ready moments, the funky flat-lay, dress shots and a first look with dad. Cassie then hopped into the coolest car i’ve ever seen to go to the Lenches Lakes. Their Ceremony was held overlooking the lake and Jacks stepfather officiated it. They shared vows and rings, their mothers did hand fasting and they even shared a shot of fireball. Their ceremony concluded with their first kiss which was truly epic with the pink and orange smoke bombs surrounding them. After the ceremony we took them aside for group photos and couple portraits which the smoke bombs appeared in again. We also used the vintage car for some shots too. After the drinks reception we moved onto speeches in the teepee followed by fish and chips for the wedding breakfast. Their ‘surprise guest’… ELVIS appeared after, to serenade the guests with all of the most famous Elvis songs. Cassie even took to the microphone to sing a bit of Tina Turner, which was epic! As the sun began to set, everyone enjoyed relaxing and drinking before the band started their set on the outdoor stage. Cassie had an outfit change into a cute sparkly short dress with white cowboy boots, which we of course got some snaps of! Once the brit-pop band started everyone joined to dance under the night sky, finishing the night on a high.
