Lucy & sHANE’S Wedding at Bourton Hall

On June 10th 2025, we captured Lucy & Shanes wedding at Bourton Hall. We began the day by photographing the bride and groom preparations. I got the shots of Lucy and her bridesmaids while Cal captured Shane and the groomsmen. I started with photographing the details - the dress, the flat-lay (including lemons, I loved it!), followed by capturing candids of the girls getting ready. Before the ceremony began we both took individual bride and groom portraits using the balcony and honeymoon suite for Lucys portraits and the outdoor grounds for Shane. Lucy then walked down the staircase to greet her dad with an emotional first look.

The ceremony was held in the Chapel, I photographed from the front and Cal was up on the balcony to capture shots from a different perspective. They shared personal vows, rings and concluded the ceremony with their first kiss and signing of the marriage register. The couple left the chapel and were showered with confetti outside. I then captured some couple portraits upstairs in the bridal suite, while Cal stayed downstairs to capture candids of the guests. We took a few more couple portraits outdoors with the beautiful Manor House and gardens as the backdrop and then moved onto family photos.

The Speeches and wedding breakfast followed and we captured all of the natural laughter and emotion throughout this time. Lucy and Shane then cut the cake and had their first dance at the bottom of the staircase, where they were showered with confetti again! Everyone then moved to the dance floor and enjoyed the music by the band.

As the sun was setting we gathered the guests to come outside for a ‘night-time group photo’. Shane and the rest of the guests didn’t know Lucy had organised a secret firework display and were very surprised when the first firework lit up the sky!
